Inspired by an 1850's Virginia BBQ recipe, this smoky and spicy sauce is enhanced with peaches, smoked paprika, ginger and black pepper.  The kind and talented folks at Catoctin Creek Distillery gave us a few of the charred oak barrels that once contained their coveted 100% organic spirit, Roundstone Rye.  The flavor of the whiskey, charred oak and a little time in the barrel sings in this smoky pepper sauce.

Goes with...grilled meats, excellent steak sauce, pulled pork sandwich and burgers.
